AT A MIDDLE FROM TOKYO, KAWAGOE IS A BEAUTIFUL EXCURSION ON DAY, BETWEEN THE KITA-EN TEMPLE AND ITS BUDDHIST STATUES, AND THE ANCIENT DEPOSITS OF THE EDO PERIOD.
We will meet from the urawa station,(JR LINE) to arrive after 30 minutes by private Van in Kawagoe, where we will pedal to reach the city center, full of temples and beautiful shops.
Nicknamed the "Little Edo", due to the presence of old commercial houses dating back to the 19th century and its traditional sites, the city is a pleasant alternative that can be used as a substitute for a few days in Tokyo. Famous is the Ichiban-gai street where we could admire the kurazukuri, white houses that look like warehouses. We will pedal long the river cycle route we will stop for a coffe in a traditional ceramic shop and we will finish under the Toku no Kane Tower (the time bell) where we could imagine the atmosphere of the Edo era , a sushi lunch and a visit to the temple of prosperity and then return to the station
